Bongani Sam's trajectory in top-flight football looks set to continue as news reaching the desk of the Siya crew is that he could move to Gauteng.
The Bloemfontein Celtic left back is understood to have attracted interest from the Big Three – but sources have indicated that Orlando Pirates are favourites to land the 21-year-old junior international.

Sam got his big break in 2017 when he was one of three youngsters from the Eastern Cape who made the Nedbank Ke Yona team that faced then title holders SuperSport United and immediately caught the eye.
He spent a season in the National First Division with Highlands Park a year later, helping them gain promotion to the Absa Premiership – dishing out the kind of performances that led to him being recalled from his loan spell by Celtic in July last year soon after the arrival of ex-Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela.

Siya sources have now informed the crew that Sam, who is currently with Bafana Bafana's COSAFA Cup squad in Durban, could very well join the Buccaneers.
Pirates are believed to have already signed another defender in Tebogo Tlolane from Chippa United and Sam is now likely to join him on the list of recruits for the 2019/20 season.
