With Kermit Erasmus currently a free agent, after the termination of his contract with Stade Rennais in France, the player's name has been bandied about regarding a potential return to the PSL.
Following Pirates' 2-0 win over Ajax Cape Town in the Nedbank Cup this past weekend, the team's head coach Milutin Sredojevic commented on the link between Erasmus and Bucs.
The Serbian mentor said his team is not currently looking at the player right now.
Micho: “As far as I know, and after deeply analyzing the rules, Kermit Erasmus would need to wait until June to be registered in SA. In Turkey, China, I think in Russia also he can play. Having said that, we have great quality at this club, we’re not exactly looking”

Erasmus is in search of a club to revive his career, following a difficult period in France due to lack of game-time at Stade Rennais.
However, the player has limited options on where he can go due to FIFA rules, as previously reported by the Siya crew.
