In today's edition of Soccer Laduma, the Siya crew reveals that Kaizer Chiefs are in the market for a goalkeeper to fill in the vacuum created by the injury to their number one shot-stopper, Itumeleng Khune.
News reaching the crew is that Reyaad Pieterse is at the top of the club's wish list, while Thela Ngobeni is also a target. Amakhosi are running out of time and are so far having to rely only on Virgil Vries and young Bruce Bvuma.

In Part 1 of a series that reveals the 'story behind the scenes' as Chiefs scour the market for experienced targets and looks at what role their must-win CAF Confederation Cup second leg play-off at home against ZESCO United will play.
The Africa Conundrum
Should Chiefs' journey in the Confederation Cup extend to the group stages, the need for an experienced shot-stopper will become much more urgent. Amakhosi had included Khune in their 24-man roster for the continental competition, with Vries and Bvuma as the other two goalkeepers. The list can be amended if the club manages to negotiate their way past Zambia's ZESCO United in the second leg of play-offs for the group stages this weekend. Chiefs trail 3-1 from the first leg in Zambia, but will be at home this weekend and aiming to turn things around.
Saturday's result could influence who Chiefs do target – if they need depth for the Africa expedition or cover for the PSL.
