English powerhouses, Manchester United and Chelsea, are reportedly ready to offer Real Madrid big sums for centre-back, Raphael Varane.
According to ESPN, the Spanish giants have repeatedly said the French defender is not for sale, but he is being continuously linked with a move to the Premier League.
The Premier League duo have reportedly been told by Varane's camp the 21-year-old is open to a move to England, but getting Real Madrid to let him go might be the problem, as he is seen as future replacement for Pepe and Sergio Ramos.
Varane enjoyed working under his previous manager, Jose Mourinho, and that could tempt him to Stamford Bridge this year.
Manchester United boss, Louis van Gaal, has made it very clear that he is in the market for a centre-back and it’s very keen on bolstering his options.
Los Blancos are keen to hang onto the 21-year-old, but may be forced to sell the player if he wishes to leave.
Carlo Ancelotti seems to prefer Pepe and Sergio Ramos in central defence and this has left Varane a frequent onlooker from the bench.
Varane has made 91 appearances for Real Madrid so far in his career and has got on the score sheet six times, assisting in a further two more.
