Thamsanqa Mkhize is still struggling with his search for a club, following the disappointment of a failed proposed move to Orlando Pirates during the transfer window.

The defender thought he found a new club when Pirates showed interest in signing him, after his trial with the club in July. The player appeared set to sign with the Buccaneers only for the club to change their minds and they signed former Golden Arrows defender Thembela Sikhakhane instead.
Mkhize was released from Maritzburg United at the end of the season.
“Thamsanqa Mkhize is yet to find a new club. He is training on his own at the moment,” a source told the Siya crew.
