Mpumalanga Black Aces will be hosted by Maritzburg United at the Harry Gwala Stadium tonight, fresh from holding current league leaders Supersport in a 1-1 draw on the weekend.

Black Aces are tenth on the ABSA Premiership table at the moment, with four points, while Maritzburg, who also have four points, are thirteenth.

The teams have only ever met four times in PSL history, with the Team of Choice winning 3 of those encounters, and AmaZayoni winning one.

Maritzburg, who lost 2-0 on the weekend to Kaizer Chiefs, have not had a win since the opening game of the season. They will be looking to rectify that tonight, against a team they have historically beaten in both previous home encounters.

However Black Aces, in the hands of their veteran coach Clive Barker, have shown they are a team to reckon with this season, and will go all out to get their second win of the season.
