David 'DVD' Mathebula is currently facing the exit door at SuperSport United, due to the player falling out of favour at the club despite being registered for the 2016/17 PSL campaign.
The 33-year-old is currently in the final year of his contract with Matsatsantsa, and Siya sources have revealed that DVD could be released from the club before his contract expires at the end of the current season.

The midfielder made just 13 league appearances for the club last season, and is yet to feature in the 2016/17 PSL campaign. However, since the arrival of Cole Alexander from Polokwane City and Reneilwe Letsholonyane from Kaizer Chiefs, the player has fallen down coach Stuart Baxter's pecking order at Matsatsantsa.
Now, Siya sources have revealed that the club could negotiate an early exit for the former Chiefs player, which could suggest that his services at SuperSport are surplus to requirements.
