Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana striker Thamsanqa Gabuza is being linked with a move away from the club, as he continues to struggle for game-time in the 2016/17 season.

While he has been featuring regularly for Bafana under coach Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba until recently, after he was left out of the latest squad that will play against Senegal in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Gabuza has battled to cement his place at Bucs.
Tendai Ndoro, who is the PSL's leading goal-scorer, has been the preferred choice in Pirates' attack under coach Muhsin Ertugral.
Gabuza came on as a substitute in the last 10 minutes of the Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs on the weekend. Siya sources have indicated that Cape Town City could look to bring the player on board, as they search for players to strengthen the team's attack under coach Eric Tinkler.

The Ladysmith-born player is also being linked with his former employers at Golden Arrows, although it seems that Cape Town City may look to land him ahead of their PSL rivals, with a possible deal on the cards for the January transfer window.
