Ajax Cape Town coach, Roger de Sa, admitted his side were poor against Mamelodi Sundowns during their 3-2 loss.
The Urban Warriors suffered their second defeat of the campaign when they down 3-2 at the hands of the Brazilians.
However, De Sa felt his charges deserved the result they got.
"We could have stolen a point here, I think overall we deserve it (Loss) to be honest, I thought we were poor from the start," De Sa said after the game.
"We had a couple of moments but I thought overall they were much better than us and we could have stolen a point and we would have been lucky to do that."
De Sa also revealed why he had to replace defender, Abbubaker Mobara, in the second half
"Mobara was feeling ill, he was vomiting at halftime and he went back, he carried on vomiting, we couldn't take a risk with him any longer and we had to take him off," he added.
"We two mishaps as well that didn't help but overall I thought we were poor, we never got started and they started."
Urban Warriors defender, Musa Lebusa, added that a bit more could have been done to prevent Anthony Laffor's stoppage time winner.
"I think it was a poor clearance from the defence, I think one of the guys should have kicked the ball further away, unfortunately it was in the dying minutes.
