Former Zimbabwe international and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Robson Muchichwa, is confident that his countrymen can succeed at Amakhosi.
Chiefs announced the arrival of two new Zimbabwean players, Edmore Chirambadare and Mitchell Katsvairo, last week Monday amongst eight new arrivals at the Naturena-based club. Muchichwa, who is amongst several Zimbabwean players to run out for the Glamour Boys in the past, has now backed his compatriots to succeed at the club.
“Chiefs know which players are good for their team and system,” he told the Siya crew. “I know even the ones they have signed this year will make it at Chiefs.”
The 40-year-old went on to say that if the pair can replicate their league winning form from Chicken Inn, then there will be no reason for them to fail to rise up to their PSL challenge.
“They did very well at Chicken Inn and helped the team win the league in Zimbabwe and if they can take the same form then I don't see why they can't make it at Chiefs," Muchichwa observed.
