News reaching the Siya crew is that Mario Booysen will be joining Mamelodi Sundowns from Maritzburg United.
Sources close to the club tell Soccer Laduma that the deal is good as done, with Booysen having agreed terms, however certain other factors are yet to be finalised.
One of those is that a Sundowns player will be joining the Team of Choice on loan for 2014/2015 season, with the names of Rodney Ramagalela and Abel Mabaso being bandied about.
Ramagalela played in 13 games in the PSL for Sundowns this past season, scoring a solitary goal.
Twenty-year-old Mabaso spent the past season on loan at Mpumalanga Black Aces, and played in 26 games for Clive Barker’s team.
Booysen has been a fixture in the Maritzburg team for the past two seasons since joining from SuperSport United. He featured in every PSL game for the club in the 2012/2013 season, and made 26 appearances in the 2013/2014 season.
