Former Platinum Stars defender, Benson Mhlongo, has signed a two-year deal with Polokwane City.
As predicted by the crew in the last two weeks, Mayanga, had talks with Rise and Shine, and the crew reported yesterday that the deal was imminent.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates player was linked to PSL returnees, Chippa United, however, the deal never happened.
Speaking to the crew, the Alexandra-born player confirmed to the crew that he's now a Polokwane City player.
"Yes, it's true that I've signed with City. I'll be their player for the next two seasons," said Mhlongo.
Mhlongo parted ways with Dikwena after joining them in 2012, where he played a pivotal role in their MTN8 and Telkom Knockout Cup glory last season. Nevertheless, the Rustenburg-based club released him after they opted against renewing his contract.
