Teams: Orlando Pirates v Chippa United
Date: 16 December 2020
Venue: Orlando Stadium
Chippa United will be looking to bring newly-crowned MTN8 champions Orlando Pirates back down to earth when the sides meet Orlando Stadium on Wednesday.
Pirates are coming off the back of a 2-1 victory over Bloemfontein Celtic in the final of the MTN8 at Moses Mabhida at the weekend, which ended the club's six-year wait for a trophy.
However, their league form has simply not seen them pick up enough wins and too many draws, leaving them in fourth position with 10 points from six matches.
Meanwhile, the Chilli Boys occupy 13th position on the standings with five points from their six matches.
Lehlohonolo Seema's men will be eager to bounce back after suffering a 2-1 loss to Baroka, while Mduduzi Sibeko was also sent off in that encounter.
The Buccanneers did the double over Chippa last season, with both encounters finishing with a 2-1 scoreline.
The match gets underway at 19h00.
