No DRC Appearance For Mozambique-Bound Dolly
Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Keagan Dolly, will not have to personally attend his hearing at the Dispute Resolutions Chamber tomorrow, and can stay with Bafana Bafana.
The Siya crew reported earlier in the week that Masandawana had served legal papers to the 23-year-old midfield man, and that a hearing would take place at the DRC on November 14th where his contract – and European buyout clause – would be discussed.
It was originally thought that, with Bafana set to take on Mozambique following their impressive victory over Senegal, Dolly may have to miss the trip due to his hearing, although the crew has now been informed that that will not be the case.
Sundowns will now appear at the DRC where they will state their case surrounding the former Ajax Cape Town man, and it will then be decided whether it will move forward or not.
Dolly put in a solid performance for Shakes Mashaba’s side as they beat the Teranga Lions in Polokwane, helping to create second goal as South Africa walked away with a 2-1 victory.
It remains to be seen what the outcome of tomorrow’s DRC hearing will be, however the crew will keep an eye on the situation to see what is decided.
