Nkausu Set For Celtic

Bloemfontein Celtic are set to complete the signing of SuperSport United defender, Davis Nkausu, later today.

The 28-year-old full-back, who has been with Matsatsantsa since 2008, has featured in just five league games so far this season, with Sibusiso Khumalo often being preferred at left back.

It was reported by the Siya crew earlier this month that Mpumalanga Black Aces, Ajax Cape Town and University of Pretoria were all chasing the Zambian international’s signature, although it seems that Siwelele have beaten them to it.

While terms are believed to have been agreed between the two clubs, the deal is yet to be finalised, although it is set to be completed before today’s 5pm transfer deadline.

The crew have been informed that Nkausu was due to feature in SuperSport’s game against University of Pretoria tonight, but that the late transfer means that he’s on his way to Bloemfontein.
