News reaching the Siya crew is that former Ajax Cape Town and Cape Town All Stars midfielder Luvuyo Memela is training with Moroka Swallows with the view of signing for the Birds.

Swallows coach Zeca Marques confirmed to the Siya crew that Memela has been training with his team.

“He has been with us for some time, but we didn’t want to reveal that in case another team steals him from us before we’ve had a proper look at him. He is looking very good at training, but it’s still too early to tell if we’re going to sign him or not,” said Marques.

Memela, who spent some time with Ajax Cape Town, joins former Mpumalanga Black Aces midfielder Sheldon Lawrence and Portuguese midfielder Joao Pedro Henriques Neto at Swallows' training.
