English Premier League
Full Time: Swansea 1-3 Manchester United
Date: 06 November 2016
Venue: Liberty Stadium
Manchester United ended a four game winless run with a 3-1 win over Swansea in an English Premier League match at Liberty stadium on Sunday.
United dominated proceedings from the onset and opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Paul Pogba found the corner of the net from the edge of the box, 1-0.
Six minutes later Zlatan Ibrahimovic doubled the Red Devils' lead when he was put into space by Wayne Rooney and produced a clinical finish from just inside the box, 2-0.
Rooney created Ibrahimovic's second goal as well in the 33rd minute after he slipped the Swede in behind the defence and the Unite striker duly obliged with just the keeper to beat, 3-0.
The away side continued to dominate proceedings, but could not add to the scoreline before the half time whistle.
The second half saw United take their foot of the pedal and Swansea took advantage by pulling a goal back in the 69th minute when Mike van der Hoorn headed home a Gylfi Sigurdsson free-kick, 3-1.
Juan Mata nearly made it four for the Red Devils ten minutes later when he was played through on goal by another superb pass from Rooney, by the former shot wide with just the keeper to beat.
United slowed the game down after that and cruised to a comfortable win.
