Mark Harrison is expected to finally leave South Africa to begin his duties as the head coach at CAPS United in Zimbabwe.
Harrison was appointed the coach of the Harare-based football giants early this year.
He has been waiting for the papers enabling him to work in Zimbabwe to be issued, before starting with his coaching duties at the club.
Harrison was recently spotted in Cape Town watching Ajax Cape Town’s league game with Polokwane City, as revealed by the Siya crew.
According to media reports from Zimbabwe, Harrison is expected to arrive at United tomorrow (Friday).
“We are still waiting for the arrival of the head coach Mark Harrison. He has been given permission to work in Zimbabwe today and we are now working on logistics to have him come and start work. We expect him to be here in Harare on Friday,” the club’s CEO, Joe Makuvire, has been quoted saying.
Harrison’s predecessor at Leopards, Zeca Marques, is cruising on a 100% win record in two games he has been in charge of the NFD outfit.
Lidoda Duvha beat Jomo Cosmos 1-0, and thrashed Garankuwa United 5-2 in two games played by the side under Marques.
