Majoro, who has just over six months left to run on his current contract, is almost certain to leave Naturena at the end of the season, with Amakhosi management already confirming that he will not be signing a new deal at the club.
With that in mind, Matsatsantsa could be willing to part ways with Maluleka in return for Majoro and cash, should Chiefs be willing to let him leave in January rather than wait until the end of the season.
However, it also comes down to personal preference with regards to Majoro, and with other teams such as Orlando Pirates and Free State Stars known to be interested in him, it may be that SuperSport is not his choice of destination.
SuperSport’s director of football, Stan Matthews, has previously confirmed to the crew that he was interested in Majoro, while he also explained that the Amakhosi were keeping a keen eye on Maluleka.
However, it seems likely that whatever Chiefs would be willing to offer for Maluleka, their free-spending rivals and long-time admirers of Maluleka, Mamelodi Sundowns, would go higher, so the Soweto giants may seek to use Majoro as bargaining power.
The Siya crew will continue to monitor developments regarding the situation of both Maluleka and Majoro, although it certainly seems like it could be a busy January transfer window for both the Glamour Boys and Matsatsantsa.
