Orbit College head coach Pogiso Makhoye has responded to reports linking the club with a loan move for Orlando Pirates winger Monnapule Saleng.
As first reported by Soccer Laduma, Orbit College is an option for Saleng to increase his game time next season, as he needs to improve his match fitness and get back to his best on the field.
On Tuesday, the Siya crew then reported how Saleng is understood to have extended his Bucs contract, thus giving Pirates the potential opportunity to loan him until he is ready for Bucs again.

Reports in local media have now suggested Saleng is on his way to the newly-promoted side, Orbit on a loan deal for the upcoming 2025/26 season.
The Siya crew has reached out to the Orbit head coach, who has since played down reports of Saleng potentially joining the club right now.
"No. There is nothing like that. We are not getting Saleng on loan from Orlando Pirates. He is an Orlando Pirates player and that is nothing to do with us. Unless it's officially from Orlando Pirates saying he is coming to us on loan and we have signed papers, there is nothing like that and those are just rumours," Makhoye told Soccer Laduma.
Makhoye added that the team is still on their break, as their promotion play-off campaign only concluded on 25 June.
"We are even not back for pre-season yet. We are only returning back for pre-season on 14 July and that's when we will start our plans for the season. So, there is nothing like that from our side," Makhoye told the Siya crew.

While the coach has pointed out there isn't a deal between Pirates and Orbit for Saleng, it remains to be seen if such an agreement could still be negotiated behind the scenes later.
Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates and Orbit College for official comment on the situation but there was no response at the time of publishing this story.
