The retired Ivory Coast captain has only appeared once for Manchester City this season after his agent Dimitri Seluk clashed with Pep Guardiola. Toure has recently apologized for his agents' comments but it is yet to be seen whether he will again play under the Spaniard.
His contract runs out on 30 June 2017 and he won't be short of options, if he won't leave the club in January already.
Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is yet to make an appearance under Antonio Conte after representing his country at the 2016 Olympic games. The Nigerian seems likely to leave Stamford Bridge by the end of the season after 10 years with the club.
Mamelodi Sundowns' Hlompho Kekana is another star, whose contract is running out by 30 June 2016.

The Masandawana captain and all others, whose contract runs out in June 2017, could start to negotiate with new clubs by January – six months before their deal current expires.
