The Siya crew can reveal that Clinton Larsen has resigned from his position as head coach of Bloemfontein Celtic.
According to our sources, the coach handed in his resignation at 10am this morning. This comes after the 4-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns in the Telkom Knockout this past Sunday, with Soccer-Laduma having revealed in issue 841 that Larsen was on thin ice at the club.
The club confirmed the news on their official Twitter account, saying, “Clinton Larsen has resigned as Head Coach of @Bloem_Celtic. Asst coach Solomons will conduct training sessions in the interim.”
