Kadi Ruled Out Of Usuthu Clash

News reaching the Siya crew is that Wits striker Calvin Kadi is unavailable for selection for this evening’s Absa Premiership game against AmaZulu.

The club has revealed the player is struggling with a slight hamstring strain and is still in the process of recovering from the injury.

Kadi has made just one league appearance for Wits so far this season, against Platinum Stars. The 25-year-old will no doubt be eager to make his return to competitive action, as he looks to establish himself as a starter amongst Wits’ talented arsenal of strikers.

The striker bagged six league goals in 20 starts last season, and he will certainly want to add to that tally when he does eventually return to action.

A source at Wits explained the extent of Kadi’s injury. He said, “Calvin picked up a slight strain on the hamstring and so he won’t be available for selection. Pretty much everyone else is raring to go and is available for selection.”

The action gets underway from 19h30 in Johannesburg.
