Juventus and Manchester United could reportedly be interested in a mega swap deal involving Paul Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Red Devils are understood to be keen to sell Pogba after the latest controversial comments from his agent Mino Raiola earlier this week.
The outspoken super-agent insisted that his client's time at United is over, with the Premier League side seemingly readying themselves to cash in on him before his contract expires in June 2022.
According to Miguel Delaney, chief football writer for The Independent, a swap deal involving Pogba and Ronaldo could be on the cards.
"Talking to people during the week because I've been doing something on the Paul Pogba situation, which is connected to Ronaldo, and the fact that Juventus might actually be interested in a swap," he told The Football Ramble's On The Continent show.
"It's not impossible. Connected to all that was the view that, ultimately, Juventus are trying to install this collective idea of football.
"They tried it with (previous manager Maurizio) Sarri, now they're trying do it with (current manager Andrea) Pirlo, but that is almost impossible to do while Ronaldo is there, because the way he plays, he just doesn't really fit into that collective approach.
"Now, obviously that was not a problem at all when he was at his absolute maximum, but now it means, even more than ever, Juventus have to play a certain way."
So far, the Bianconeri have dismissed all rumours that Ronaldo could leave the club before his contract expires in 2022, although the Serie A giants are believed to be keen on a reunion with Pogba.
