The 35-year-old did not find the back of the net in his side's 3-3 draw with Sassuolo this week, ending a run of 18 successive league matches in which he was involved in at least one goal.
He therefore remains on 28 goals for the 2019/20 Serie A season, one short of Ciro Immobile, who currently leads the Capocannoniere race.
If Ronaldo manages to overtake the Lazio forward, who has scored just twice since the league's restart, he would become the first player to win the Golden Boot in England, Spain and Italy.
His next goal will also see him become the first player to score 50 times in the Premier League, LaLiga and Serie A, while he just needs four more strikes break Felice Borel's record for the most league goals in a single campaign for Juventus.
The milestone has stood for 86 years but Ronaldo has five more league games to better Borel's 31 strikes in the 1933/34 season.
If he manages to score eight more goals in Juve's remaining Serie A and UEFA Champions League games this season, Ronaldo would also break Ferenc Hirzer's total of 35 strikes across all competitions for the Bianconeri, which is 94 years old.
Ronaldo needs to score nine more times in the outstanding Serie A games to break Gino Rossetti's record of 36 goals in the Italian top flight from the 1928/29 campaign – a milestone Gonzalo Higuain matched in 2015/16.
Ronaldo could also go one clear of longstanding rival Lionel Messi if he manages to score a hat-trick in the Champions League once it resumes as both players have netted eight triplets in Europe's elite club competition thus far.

A successful Champions League campaign could see Ronaldo equal two further records. He could lift his sixth European Cup, equalling Francisco Gento's total of six UCL trophies, which would also see him match Clarence Seedorf's record of winning the competition with three different clubs.
