Orlando Pirates midfielder-cum-defender, Edwin Gyimah, thinks that it's every player's dream of playing for either Bucs or Kaizer Chiefs.
The Ghanaian international joined the Buccaneers in the July/August transfer window after spending last season on loan at Mpumalanga Black Aces from SuperSport United.
The 24-year-old is understood to have been coveted by Bucs Chairman, Irvin Khoza, and has indicated that it was also a dream of his to play at a side with the calibre of the Soweto giants.
“It was my personal dream to play for a team as ambitious as Pirates and I am glad that I am here to play with pride for this historic team,” Gyimah told Soccer Laduma.
“Every player dreams of playing for Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, and coming from Ghana to be part of this historic side is really something special.”
Gyimah has returned from international duty ahead of Pirates’ upcoming league game against Bidvest Wits and will be hoping to get a run out and start to establish a name for himself at the Buccaneers.
What do you think of Gyimah? Do you think he will prove to be a good signing for Pirates?
