Jomo Cosmos striker, Charlton Mashumba, is currently on trial in Portugal as he looks to try and land a contract with Primeira Liga outfit, Tondela.
Mashumba, 22, bagged 17 league goals for Cosmos in 2014/15 as he helped them on their way to securing promotion back into the Absa Premiership, however it always seemed unlikely that he would be remaining at the club after the player himself said his goodbyes last month.
A host of top-flight sides, such as Mamelodi Sundowns, were believed to have shown an interest in the Zimbabwean, though it appeared that his personal dream was to try his luck overseas.
Now, as confirmed in the Portuguese media, Mashumba is currently on trial with the recently promoted top-flight outfit, and scored in a friendly against Oliveirense on Wednesday.
With the forward's future remaining unknown following Sono's comments that he actually wants to keep hold of him, it now remains to be seen what will happen with him going forward.
