Kaizer Chiefs striker Camaldine Abraw has now commented on his missed penalty in the Telkom Knockout final against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Both Abraw and captain Siphiwe Tshabalala missed their spot-kicks, which would likely have brought Amakhosi back into contention for the trophy, in the decider against Downs.
Abraw did eventually score for Chiefs, but it was too little too late and the Brazilians ran out 3-1 winners on the day.
"It was a big opportunity for me to show myself that I had been preparing well, but I have to get more goals for the team," the striker told Soccer Laduma.
"It was sad that we lost the final, but we will continue to fight for the remaining trophies this season.
"It was very sad. I normally take penalties and score, but on that day it was not to be. But I'm a professional.
"I have to put that behind me and focus on upcoming games to make sure I score and help the team."
Do you think Chiefs and Abraw can get revenge this weekend, or will Downs be too strong?
