Ajax Not Aware Of Chiefs' Mzwakali Interest

News reaching the Siya crew is that Ajax Cape Town are not aware on the reported interest in midfielder Bantu Mzwakali from Kaizer Chiefs.
The player has for some time now indicated that he would welcome a new challenge in his professional football career, and stated that he is keen on playing for a club in Gauteng.
As previously reported, Orlando Pirates have been monitoring the 22-year-old’s situation with interest over the last year. However the latest news reaching the crew is that the Amakhosi, are also keen on the player.
“They want to bring in young players who can fight for trophies for the team next season and Bantu Mzwakali is one of the players they want to sign. I don't think he will come cheap, but if they want to build a strong team they have to be ready to spend,” a Siya explained.
Despite the reported interest, an Ajax official confirmed to the Siya crew that Urban Warriors are not aware of the interest and no official approach has been made by Chiefs.
Mzwakali is currently under contract with Ajax which means that Chiefs will have to buy him out of his contract, if he is to join the Soweto giants.
