Gareth Bale Wins Welsh Best Player Award

Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale has been named the Welsh Player of the Year for the fourth year in a row.

The Los Blancos forward won the accolade of the Football Association of Wales for the fourth year running on Tuesday night, after he enjoyed a successful 2016 with club and country.

Bale was spectacular for Wales at the 2016 UEFA European Championship, where Steve Coleman's men reached the quarter-finals of the competitions, while he also was a part of Real's UEFA Champions League winning side last season.

It is the sixth time the 27-year-old has won the award in total, while Joe Allen was named as Wales' Player's Player of the Year on Tuesday night.

Last season Bale scored 19 goals and assisted a further 15 strikes for Real, and he has again started this campaign brightly for his club.
