Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos set a remarkable international record after helping Spain to a big win over the Faroe Islands in a EURO 2020 qualifier.

The defender returned to action on Friday evening after missing the final few weeks of the domestic season due to injury.
Ramos opened the scoring as La Roja romped to a 4-1 win to maintain their perfect record in qualifying round.
With that win, Ramos has now registered 122 wins with the national side, more than any other player in the history of international football.

Ramos overtook former teammate for club and country, Iker Casillas, who had 121 with the Spanish national side.
