It has been reported that the alleged fight emanated from their different opinions about their former team's performances.

According to reports, Mahlangu is allegedly threatened by the media attention that Khanye has been getting in recent times.

Speaking to the Siya crew, Khanye refuted the fight reports while also setting the record straight about drinking claims on social media.

"Jabu and I are brothers. I received a call from the publication yesterday (Saturday) asking me if I heard what Jabu said about me and I told them that I didn't and I asked them what he said. They told me he said I should stop talking a lot and should stop criticising coaches. I told them that Jabu and I are brothers and we have never had any problems. I respect Jabu and he respects me too," said Khanye.

"Jabu and I work for the same radio station and he has his own show and I have mine. Like I say, we are brothers and we encourage each other every day. We cannot talk in a bad way about each other and I was surprised to wake up to stories like this, that I was in a pub and drinking. I don't drink and I don't go to pubs. Jabu is also shocked. We have recorded a video to prove that we remain brothers and that there is no bad blood between us. We recorded the video today (Sunday) and we are not in a fight and we are happy for each other instead," Khanye told the Siya crew.
