Today, we enter week two of Ba Kae Bale (Where Are They), and we're looking at former Kaizer Chiefs striker, Daniel "Massaro" Matsau.
Matsau played in the 1997 U20 World Cup with South Africa and also went on to play for Bloemfontein Celtic, SuperSport United and Mpumalanga Black Aces, where his professional career ended a decade ago.
He was plagued with injuries during the course of his career, and his last stint in the PSL was for SuperSport in the 2004/05 season, while his last appearance in the pro ranks was at Black Aces in the NFD in May 2007, before moving to ABC Motsepe League outfit Matlosana United in Klerksdorp.
Straight after that, he hung up his boots and returned home to Allanridge in the Free State. "Massaro" is now coaching SAB League side Sporting Club FC.
He also has a Bafana Bafana cap to his name, and a number of national U23 caps.
Do you remember Matsau?
