I Wont Miss The Taxis: James Keene Bids Farewell To PSL In Emotional Letter

I Wont Miss The Taxis: James Keene Bids Farewell To PSL In Emotional Letter

Having arrived in the PSL as a relatively unknown, English striker James Keene has confirmed his exit from the PSL in an emotional letter on social media.

He was introduced to South Africans as a bustling striker at Bidvest Wits and perfectly adapted to the style and philosophy of Coach Gavin Hunt.

He had a training stint with Kaizer Chiefs with the Amakhosi opting not to sign the burly striker and thereafter moved to Supersport United where he spent last season

The 33-year old has scored 21 goals in his 76 appearances in the PSL.

Keene took to Twitter to bid farewell to Mzansi.

He mentioned that he will not miss the taxis in South Africa on his way to training in the morning, but will, however, miss the people.

The journeyman hinted that he would be heading to Sweden.

What are your fondest memories of James Keene in SA?
