A video of Orlando Pirates trickster Thabo Qalinge performing what has been deemed a "showboating" act by some recently made the rounds on social media, dividing opinion among fans. Did you see it?
The Buccaneers took on Polokwane City in their final game of the 2018/19 Absa Premiership season, with the Soweto giants emerging as convincing 3-0 winners on the day.
With the game coming to its close and Bucs leading, Qalinge took it upon himself to leave the crowd with a party piece of his own, and completed a series of step-overs, much to the delight of the spectators.

As expected, many fans had their view on what they had seen. Some viewed it as entertainment while those on the other side of the fence felt it was needless showboating.
