Clinton Larsen Could Be Joining Chippa United

Clinton Larsen
Chippa United are believed to have identified the next man that they want in charge of their first team, with Joel Masutha's neck on the block following the 4-2 loss to Orlando Pirates. Read: Kgatlana's Speech As CAF Winners Revealed The Chilli Boys have won just two of their last 22 games in all competitions, and after things didn't work out with Dan Malesela and Eric Tinkler, their fortunes haven't improved since Masutha took over. Chippa find themselves in 15th place with more than half of the 2018/19 season gone, and no team in the division has a worse goal difference (-10) after they conceded four against the Buccaneers on Tuesday evening. According to Siya sources, Masutha's time at the club could well be coming to an end, and it appears that Clinton Larsen, recently a free agent after leaving Golden Arrows, could be one of their prime targets. While there has been no official decision made on who will take the club forward for the rest of 2018/19, it is thought that Larsen is certainly one of the top candidates for the position given his years of experience in the Absa Premiership. Chippa face Maritzburg United in a bottom-of-the-table clash next weekend and may be eager to have a new man in charge by the time that clash rolls around in 10 days' time.
