The final FIFA rankings of 2020 have been announced, with seven CAF nations ending the year inside the top 50, while Bafana Bafana remained some way off Africa's highest-ranked nations.

Senegal are Africa's highest-ranked side, climbing one spot to 20th position in the latest listing.
The Lions of Teranga are followed by Tunisia, who are in second place on the continent and 26th in the overall ranking.
Last year's AFCON winners Algeria complete the podium, appearing in 31st position worldwide.
Morocco have climbed four spots in the overall ranking, while Nigeria fell three positions, with both now sitting in joint-35th place.
Egypt, in 49th spot, and Cameroon, in 50th, are the final two CAF nations in FIFA's 50 highest-ranked nations.
Ghana dropped out of the top 50 to 52nd position, while Mali (57th) and Burkina Faso (58th) round out Africa's 10 highest-ranked nations.

South Africa, meanwhile, end 2020 in 71st position overall, and in 13th on the continent.
