Having previously been interested in his signature, Spanish giants FC Barcelona are reportedly set to launch a transfer bid for Napoli star Fabian Ruiz, who recently became a Spain international.

The 23-year-old impressed while coming through the ranks at Real Betis before leaving for Italian giants Napoli, where he has become a first-team regular under Carlo Ancelotti.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalans have had three chances to sign Ruiz in the past, but ultimately passed up on the opportunity on each occasion, even when he was reportedly available for just £5.3 million (R96 million) two years ago.

The same report suggested that the Blaugrana could be back in for the player, who is now said to be valued at about £53.7 million (R973 million) by his club.
Ruiz made his senior debut for the Spanish national team in June this year, and has featured for La Furia Roja on three occasions so far.
