Ronaldo-Less Real Cruise To Victory In La Liga Opener
The 31-year-old received his marching orders in the 92nd minute of the match, after his arm caught Borja Valle in the neck as he and the Deportivo player challenged for a ball in the air.
After the game, Ramos said he did not agree with the referee's decision, and suggested that La Liga officials are too quick to hand out cards on matchdays.
"I do not agree with the card, but I respect the opinion of the referee," Ramos said, as quoted by Marca.
"Sometimes officials should look at English football and let us play more.
"I like their system because, in Europe, referees are more lenient."
