The Welshman scored the third of Real's four goals in the 66th minute, which was also his 15th La Liga goal of the campaign.
In addition, Bale has also surpassed former FC Barcelona striker, Gary Lineker, as the all-time leading British goal scorer in the Spanish top flight.
Lineker's record of 42 goals stood for 20 years, but the Los Blancos superstar has now overtaken the former England international with 43 goals.
A list of the leading British goal scorers also features former England internationals, David Beckham and Michael Owen, both of whom have netted 13 goals each.
