The Premier League has been known to attract some of the world's best footballers, and now an FC Barcelona stalwart has revealed why the English top flight appeals to him.
Brazilian right back Dani Alves recently admitted that he would love to experience English football, describing it as "incredible".
"I've always said that playing in England is something I've got pending," Alves told the The Guardian.
"I don't know when but I'd like to play there, to experience in person what I see from the sofa.
"The way the people live football. Wow, it's incredible! Full stadiums, living every moment.
"If you've left your skin on the pitch, (English) fans respect that."
The 32-year-old was linked with Manchester United last year as his contract with the Catalan club wound down, but later signed an extension at the Camp Nou.
The former Sevilla defender will be in action against English opposition on Wednesday, when Barcelona take on Arsenal in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie.
