News reaching the Siya crew is that Free State Stars have shown their coach Denis Lavagne the door, following the team's disappointing start to the 2016/17 season.

Stars have lost two of their three games so far this season and have drawn the other under the Frenchman. Ea Lla Koto lost 1-0 against Golden Arrows in their league game at Goble Park Stadium last night.
The Bethlehem outfit is 15th on the Absa Premiership log, with only the league's debutants, Baroka FC, below them on the standings.
"Free State Stars have parted ways with their French coach. The team's poor results resulted in the club relieving him of his duties as the head coach," a source told the Siya crew.
Indication is that the club's development coach and scout, Themba Sithole, is likely to take over as the caretaker coach for Stars. The Siya crew has it on good authority that the club's management are currently in a meeting this morning regarding the search for a new coach and the way forward.

Lavagne has confirmed to the Siya crew that he is no longer the head coach of the side.
