Arsene Wenger and Cesc Fabregas may be reunited as reports claim Arsenal has bid £35 million (R 610 million) for the Catalan midfielder.
After Fifa's transfer sanctions on Barcelona were suspended, the club will be able to deal players momentarily, which would allow Fabregas to make a move to another club.
New Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has not made any decisive comments on Fabregas' future.
"In principle, we have not taken any decisions like that because we still have time," he told reporters, according to AS.
England's Telegraph newspaper reports that Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are also interested in acquiring Fabregas.
Before joining his hometown club, Barcelona, in 2011, Fabregas played for eight years at Arsenal, where he scored 59 goals in 305 appearances in all competitions.
Since moving to the Blaugrana for £35 million, Fabregas has made 129 appearances, netting 35 goals.
