The goalkeeper is currently on the books of Wa All Stars FC in the Ghanaian Premier League. He was in the squad selected for Ghana in their game against Egypt in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on the weekend.
The Siya crew has been reliably told that the shot-stopper flew straight from Cairo after their game against Egypt and landed in Mzansi on Tuesday morning.
He is expected to spend a few days searching for a club in the PSL. Ofori's representative Thembela 'Tera' Maliwa confirmed the player's arrival in Mzansi.

"Yes, Richard Ofori landed in the country on Tuesday morning, with the hope of getting a contract. He is the current national team goalkeeper of Ghana. He plays for Wa All Stars FC of Ghana. They are the champions of the league in Ghana. We had a few calls enquiring about him from other countries in Europe. But we felt that maybe it would be good for him to start in the PSL. He is still 23 years old," said Maliwa.
