The game was evenly poised heading to the break before Sandile Mthethwa was shown a straight red card for an elbow on Deon Hotto.
The Chilli Boys defended well and were minutes away from clinching a point until Fortune Makaringe bagged the winning goal in the 86th minute.
"I feel disappointed about the result," Seema told SuperSport after the game.
"But I'm more disappointed about the guys after executing the plan so well and then end up conceding in the dying minutes of the game. But after we kept them out for so long and then getting hit.
"At the end of the day I feel for them. But the plan was thrown out the window the minute we got a red card. It was always going to be difficult to deal with their movement but we tried to be as compact as possible and frustrate them to go wide.
"And I think Eva Nga he worked his socks off. I had to bring the fresh legs. They worked hard. The goal I think we let ourselves down. They were frustrated. We tried to explore and it cost us because we opened up at the back.
When asked about his reaction to the red card, Seem added, "I did not see the incident. Whether it's a red card or not I don't know. I don't think it really matters now. But what I know is it threw our plan out of the window."
