Party Fever Hits Twitter As Chiefs Run Riot

There was reason for Kaizer Chiefs fans to clap back on Twitter following their side's 3-0 drubbing of Highlands Park on Wednesday evening.

Ernst Middendorp's men were adamant that Highlands Park would not spoil their party and goals from Eric Mathoho and a Leonardo Castro brace ensured the party ended in style for Amakhosi.

Twitter was buzzing with activity after the match and Chiefs fans were in a buoyant mood following chants from opposition supporters that they blew a 10-point lead at the top of the table. 

Chiefs' win over Highlands means they remain on course for their first Absa Premiership title since the 2014/15 season.
