Cavin Johnson Officially Available For Third Club This Season

Cavin Johnson will officially be available to coach a third club this season, should he get another opportunity and is keen, after he officially parted ways with Black Leopards today.

Leopards had initially put the coach on suspension earlier in the week, following a string of disappointing results by the team since the start of the year, with the Limpopo outfit issuing the following statement on Monday, through their spokesperson Berry Ramunenyiwa, "Black Leopards FC suspended coach Cavin Johnson with immediate effect today, 27/01/2020. Allan Clark was appointed caretaker coach in the meantime."

In a document seen by the Siya crew, Leopards have since officially parted ways with Johnson as of today (Friday), and have agreed to pay him a settlement amount regarding his contract.

"The employee was employed by the company as its head coach on 29 December 2019 in terms of a contract of employment," the document reads, in part.

"The parties have agreed without any admission of liability, to settle any and all of the disputes between them as set out in this agreement," the documents further states, in part.

Johnson has been in charge of Lidoda Duvha for only five matches – four losses and one draw, one point out of a possible 15.

The 61-year-old coach had also been relieved of his coaching duties at AmaZulu earlier in the season, and also after five matches in charge during the current campaign – three losses and two draws, two points out of a possible 15.
