UnderGround Soccer was inspired by artists, dreamers and innovators. The beautiful game has evolved its own set of unique qualities – adapting to a variety of urban environments into a game that regards individual skills, unusual talents and thinking that applies to shifting conditions just as highly as scoring goals and winning matches.

This inspired our vision to take this game to another level.

The game has been taken out of the establishment, and onto the urban field. It is deeper in the cultural environment, more a part of the social scene – there are less rules, wider boundaries, it's a rapid evolution of the game.

We've created urban inspired 3v3 courts in warehouses, in the mall in parking level 3, on the 15th storey of that building in the city centre, Sunday at the market place, that awesome stretch among the mine dumps, on the beach…
Every tournament has a unique surface environment, with different rules requiring different skills to earn the title and respect of RULING THE UNDERGROUND, allowing players to experience different and unique events. Event locations and rules change to suit each tournament. The fields are different shapes and size at each event, adding to skill and adaptability factors. Each event will have 3 on 3 and UGS Solo (1v1) game set ups. Each event has a DJ, individual skill contests, exhibition games and a host of urban entertainment.
Teams compete at street games and spontaneous challenges in order to build up enough points to enter in showcase tournaments.
Since its inception in 2005, this has been the dream. Putting SA street soccer on the global map, for the movement that started with a passion for a ball on the streets of various neighbourhoods across the globe. A community that believes in the freedom of expressing oneself with their skills, passion and creativity.
