It’s Time to Crown the Soccer Laduma Readers' Player of the Season!
The 2024/25 campaign has delivered memorable moments and standout performances — now it’s your turn to have your say. Soccer Laduma invites you, our passionate readers, to vote for your Readers' Player of the Season.
Our editorial team has selected 20 of the standout performers from across the season. These stars have been shortlisted for you to choose from, and it's now up to you to help decide who truly deserves the honour of being crowned the fan-voted best.
How the Voting Works
The voting process will take place over three rounds, each designed to narrow the list of contenders until we reach the final eight.
Round 1: Top 20 → Top 16
All 20 players are up for voting. After this round, the four players with the fewest votes will be eliminated.
Round 2: Top 16 → Top 8
The 16 remaining players go head-to-head again, with eight players progressing to the final round.
Round 3: Final 8
The top eight players will face off for the ultimate title — Soccer Laduma Readers' Player of the Season.
Things to Remember
You get one vote per round, so make it count!
At the start of each round, all vote counts will be reset to zero, giving every player a fresh and fair chance.
