It has been reported that Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela could be sitting in at the club's offices in Naturena for a disciplinary hearing.
Amakhosi, who are having a bad run so far this season and have only managed to win five of their past 15 PSL official fixtures stretching back to last season, apparently feel that it is time to address the club's bad form.
Komphela will sit in with the club's management during the international break with hopes that he will have answers as to why the club has not been performing well.
While most unhappy Amakhosi fans are calling for Steve to be fired, some feel it would be unfair to let the coach go, let alone call him in for a disciplinary hearing seeking answers to the club's terrible form.
Here are some supporters' opinions on the matter:
"We can't pretend like there's nothing wrong at Chiefs. We need a quality striker, if not strikers." – Mthokozisi Memela
"Hands off Steve. Give Steve quality players, you can't bring in a Rolls-Royce fitted with a Toyota Cressida engine and expect it to perform like a Lamborghini or a Ferrari. Get Steve quality players. We can't afford to have another coach at this time of the season, we can't afford to have someone who is still going to try different combinations, to learn about our players. We can't take that risk. Let Steve finish his season." – Khosilogical
"When will Bobby suffer the same fate? Leave Komphela alone. Bobby must not be stingy, and buy quality players." – Sanchez Alexis
"Bobby and Steve should both be disciplined, Bobby for not buying quality players, Steve for coaching Chiefs like a small developing team." – Jonnybee50
Do you think Chiefs are being too hard on Komphela?
